The brilliant events company Freshwata, who Aquabatix USA worked with for the ESPYs, called upon us again to perform a synchronized swimming show at a huge VISA event taking place in San Diego. 1800 delegates were needing entertaining in the large pool area of the Marriot Marquis sat along the harbor front and the client only wanted synchronized swimmers to provide the evening’s live entertainment.

Freshwata were confident, having worked with us before, that Aquabatix USA would excel beyond any requirement from the client. They put their trust in us again to produce three outstanding routines. Aquabatix USA brought on board eight elite standard synchronised swimmers, many who are Olympians, to become the memorable moment of the night.

The branding and look was of the uppermost importance. VISA had three particular colours, so Aquabatix USA had to match that with our look. With stripes of royal blue, the swimsuits from Ralph Lauren and yellow flowery caps to add that vintage look, Aquabatix not only created a look perfect for the client but also to match the nautical area and history of the area. The client had also requested that the word VISA could be created with bodies during one of the routines. VISA had first achieved this in a commercial with the US Olympic artistic swimming team in the year 2000.

With routines from a classic themed Beyond The Sea to a more fun California Girls routine and then a modern upbeat performance to the music of Due Lipa, the Aquabatix USA synchronized swimming troupe were the talk of the event. The guests all had their phones out filming the synchronized swimming routines. The crowd were cheering and clapping the acrobatic lifts and mesmerising formation changes. The client was extremely happy with the performances. Freshwata commented “it was fantastic working with your team!! You all did a killer job”.
